We are appealing to our residents who drive or pick-up their kids at Boxwood Public School during rush hours to be cautious when
driving near the school zone.

For our children's safety, please DO NOT:

• double-park,
• stop in the middle of the road,
• drive over the posted speed limit,
• make unsafe U-turns.

Also pay special attention to school kids who may be dashing out
between cars.

There are many parents who have expressed their concern over this safety issue to the school principal and to our association. If the situation does not improve, York Regional Police will be notified to reinforce the traffic regulations.

Children are our future. We do not want any of them to get hurt by irresponsible drivers.
