It's going to be a busy month and in the next few weeks you should be receiving more than usual amounts of communications from us.

We are off to a good start with 134 registered members this year but we would like to see this number double or triple with your help. Our Directors decided to waive the $10 membership fee last month for returning and new members. We would like for YOU to help us reach more homes in our community and extend this offer to them.

Please ask as many of your neighbours to join this week by asking them to send an email to info@rfra.ca with the subject line “I would like to join.” and include their:

• name,
• street address,
• phone number, and
• email address.

In the past, when we would solicit door to door for members and the common reply was we don’t have time. Although we would love for all our members to volunteer some time to the community this is not what being a member is all about. It’s about being informed with issues that affects our community, neighbourhood safety and trusting the 2011-2012 RFRA Board of Directors to act upon your behalf.

Our main method in communicating with our members is through email, hence we would like to reach as many as we can in order to keep everyone informed. As well, your email address is never shared.
