One of our members wrote:
“I have been experiencing very frequently, residents in our neighbourhood making very bad left turns onto 14th from Boxwood Cres. They expect the oncoming traffic, who have the right of way, to yield to them. I had to honk my horn several times. Last week alone it happened twice in 2 days.”

Mr. Khan wrote to say:
“This is a major safety issue. The Town says that it installs lights to stop traffic, not calm it so therefore it is completely appropriate to tell them that we need traffic stopped at that intersection so that we can turn out of the neighbourhood without being blindsided by oncoming traffic. A 3-way stop at Havelock and Boxwood would be immensely beneficial for the kids of the neighbourhood. Traffic would come to a stop and this way the traffic guard does not have to risk her life trying to physically stop traffic by jumping in front of cars that are in motion.”
